Other Ways to Give
Leave a Legacy at the Food Bank
The Ferndale Food Bank (FFB) offers donors meaningful, tax-efficient ways to make a lasting impact—both today and in the future. IRA donations and planned giving through vehicles like trusts, wills, and life insurance policies are simple and powerful ways to express your values and support neighbors in need. Even a modest gift can make a difference in the fight against hunger.
Individual Retirement Account (IRA)
You could make a meaningful difference right now by donating directly from your IRA. A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows you to give directly to the Ferndale Food Bank and may offer tax benefits.
Your contribution can also count toward all or part of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)—helping you meet your financial goals while feeding our neighbors in need.
Please contact your financial advisor to learn more about making a gift from your IRA to the Ferndale Food Bank.
Planned Giving
When you include the Ferndale Food Bank in your estate plans, you help ensure that families in our community will continue to have access to healthy, nutritious food. Your legacy gift is an investment in hope and nourishment for the future.
We encourage you to consult your legal, financial, or estate planning professionals to determine the best approach for your situation.
